Born in 1994, Doruk Kumkumoğlu is an artist / photographer living and working in Istanbul.
He works with printed and physical mediums, mainly revolving around concepts of perception, illusory representations and the viewer - image relationship. Recently, his work is focused more on exploring photography / photographic image and it’s relationship between variety of different mediums, in turn creating alternative approaches on photography in the context of it’s function and conceptual possibilities.
